Troubleshooting
Practical steps for common issues abroad — no internet, QR already used, APN and roaming charges. Try these before contacting support.

Install often succeeds but data does not work at your destination.
- Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line — and off on your home line.
- On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → set the eSIM line for Cellular Data.
- Toggle Airplane mode for 10 seconds — this can refresh network registration.
- Still no data? WhatsApp us with destination and a screenshot of cellular settings.
Sometimes the line is installed but off or not selected for data.
- Check Cellular settings — if missing, retry install from email (only if not activated).
- Set the eSIM line for cellular data (not voice only).
- Turn the line on if disabled — on iPhone: “Turn On This Line”.
- If the line vanished after an OS update — recheck compatibility and reinstall.
Most Simbo plans auto-configure APN — manual entry is occasionally needed.
- Toggle Airplane mode, wait 15 seconds, try again.
- On Android: Settings → Network → APN — confirm a profile exists for the eSIM.
- If you received an APN in email or order details — enter manually. Otherwise contact support.
Each eSIM code is for one device — it cannot move after successful activation.
- If you scanned the same QR twice — use the profile already on the device.
- Changed phones — you need a new plan; an activated code cannot transfer.
- Install failed without activation — contact support with order number before retrying.
Your home SIM may roam if data roaming is enabled on it.
- Disable Data Roaming on your Israeli line — keep it on for eSIM only.
- Set eSIM for data; keep home line for calls if needed.
- Turn off Cellular Data on the home line if you do not need it abroad.
- Calls/SMS on the home line may still bill at carrier rates — not an eSIM bug.
Install needs stable Wi‑Fi and an eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked device.
- Use stable Wi‑Fi — not cellular data only.
- Confirm device compatibility and carrier unlock.
- Retry QR scan or manual install with the code from email.
- Carrier lock error — contact your carrier; Simbo error — WhatsApp with screenshot.
- When should I contact Simbo support?
- After the steps above — especially install errors, no network after 10 minutes, or a broken QR. Send your order number.
- Do I need to change APN in every country?
- Usually no. If there is still no data after enabling eSIM roaming — check APN or contact support with your destination.
- Why don’t calls work on the eSIM?
- Simbo plans are usually data-only. Calls stay on your home line or Wi‑Fi apps.
